The doctors finished the process of warming Eli's body temperature this evening. They were able to stabilize him enough to remove several machines so Lys can now rub his head! :) The next 24 hours are very critical to see how he responds to being warm so we gratefully ask for your continued prayers. They had to increase some medications and oxygen levels to stabilize him because he became a bit agitated while warming up; however, doctors are hoping if he stays stable overnight he can be switched to a conventional respirator tomorrow.
Lys and Ted are keeping vigil at his bedside, which is taxing while she is trying to heal. Please pray for recovery, rest, patience, and peace as they continue to wait anxiously for more answers.
